Hera and I both like dry wines. To accompany last night’s dinner of baked fish, roasted peppers, and roasted, chopped yellow squash, this light tasting, chilled wine was a fine choice. Georgian wines are wonderful, and easily available here in the Ft. Myers — Naples area. One of my favorite sources for Georgian wines is Camilla Eastern European Market in Naples.

I hear that the rkatsiteli from this Virginia vineyard is superb. Two friends with a down to earth appreciation of white wines recommend this enthusiastically.

This wine also went nicely with tonight’s sticky chicken recipe.

Dry wines are the essence of good cuisine. One thing my Hera doesn’t want to understand. But if you take 10 Italians, they’ll have 10 different tastes as regards not only wine & cooking, but also politics etc. we hare HOPELESS.
Let us toast to life Zeus. May the gods – and God – be with us!

Tell me how and I’ll gladly add it. I have a comments widget on the sidebar, but if that isn’t what you are looking for, please give me an example so I can add it.

It is perfect now. Readers can follow comments. I would increase the number of comments within the widget settings. But is is ok. Thank you man!
